Information on your resort holiday in Morocco

Morocco – weather and optimal travel times

The Moroccan climate is split into three regions: A Mediterranean climate prevails along the coastline of the north-west. The south and the inland enjoy a desert climate. In contrast, the Atlas mountain range is dominated by a continental climate. Summers on the coast are dry and warm, reaching average daytime temperatures of 24–26°C, and fresh nighttime temperatures of around 17°C. During the winter months of November to March, the average temperature is around 16°C, with occasional showers. Therefore, the best travel time for a resort holiday to Morocco is from around May to October. Water temperatures during this period are between 18 and 23°C.
